Why separate cable sizing from string voltage?
A cable-sizing pass and a string-voltage assessment answer different engineering questions. In this supplied example, cable sizing passes while the voltage design remains incomplete. Zero reported voltage failures does not make an incomplete assessment complete.
Design basis & references
References visible in the supplied example include IEC 60364-5-52 for current-carrying capacity and voltage drop, and IEC 60287-1-1 for cable current rating and resistance calculations.
